Vessels

Vessels pose no risk to health or daily well-being from a medical point of view but may affect self-esteem. They appear as redness and spots spread throughout the body, mainly affecting people with lighter skin. They appear on the legs, above the cheekbones, on the chin, nose and chest.

Called by dermatologists telangiectasias, vessels form when very thin blood capillaries widen and become visible under the skin. The most common causes for its onset are genetic or as a result of rosacea, vascular tumors or varicose veins, as well as hormonal or physiological disorders caused by prolonged use of contraceptives, topical medication and corticosteroids.

External factors include excessive sun exposure, smoking, and alcohol consumption. One of the palliatives is makeup.

Cosmiatry treats vessels with lasers and pulsed light.

CLaCS®

Clinical Dermatology > Vessels

Solution for body vessels and some types of varicose veins, CLACS is a device that combines and enhances the effects of known techniques: transdermal laser, sclerotherapy (glucose injection) and cold air jets, which act as a skin cooler. These are all actions covered by the acronym CLaCS for Cryo-Laser and Cryo-Sclerotherapy.

All actions of the device are guided by the use of Augmented Reality equipment, which helps to locate the veins accurately, making the result even more satisfying.

CLaCS technology offers less discomfort and faster treatment and recovery.

Post-treatment: Normal life, but avoid exposure to sunlight.

Protocol: 1 session.

Result: Immediate and gradual for 2 weeks.

Pulsed light

Recommended for thin and reddish vessels on the face. The device emits pulses of light of various lengths, which are absorbed by the hemoglobin present in the inflamed cells of these vessels. When light is fired towards them, a heat wave is emitted, causing injury and unable to carry blood.

The cells are then destroyed, the pigment inside dissolves and the spots diminish significantly. The technique is based on selective photothermolysis.

Post-treatment: Mild burning and redness that takes 6 to 8 hours.

Protocol: On average, 4 sessions.

Result: They disappear after treatment or darken, disappearing after 15 days.
