Stretch marks are scars caused by the sudden stretching of the skin. They are caused by pregnancy, obesity or anorexia nervosa, and also by the rapid growth of adolescents: in all these situations, collagen and elastin fibers, which are the proteins that support the middle layer of the skin, can break down.
Characterized by purplish to red and white lines, stretch marks appear on the abdomen, around the breasts, the arms, the back, the thighs and the buttocks.
The two most common types are red stretch marks, which retain this coloration because they are recent and in the process of inflammation – and are easier to treat. And the white stretch marks, are the red ones that have already past the inflammation process destroyed the local melanin. In brown skin, at this stage they have darker, purplish tones.
Stretch marks can also result from sudden weight and height gain, excessive exercise, use of silicone prosthetics, anabolic steroids and corticosteroids.

This allows to generate a deep heat deposit in the layers of the skin. This way, Smooth Mode leads to immediate tissue contraction, leaving the skin firmer. In addition, the thermal damage caused stimulates regeneration and new collagen formation, improving the appearance of recent and late stretch marks. Erbium mode can also be used in the same session which allows superficial ablation of the tissue, improving the most superficial imperfections and with whitening effect.

The intensity of the peel varies between superficial, medium or deep. The skin cells are thus stimulated to grow rejuvenated, softer and clearer. Only the doctor is able to recommend peelings, because it is necessary to be precise about the depth conditions of the skin, characteristic that varies from person to person. In case of inaccuracy in the exfoliation process, excessive peeling can cause infections and leave scars.

Starwalker is a picosecond and nanosecond laser that safely removes all pigment tones from the skin. It is the newest treatment for removing tattoos, blemishes, spots, dark circles and melasma. The energy waves allow a photoacoustic effect of greater intensity, breaking the skin pigments into smaller particles, increasing efficiency, speed and safety.
Post-treatment: For dark spots and melasmas, no post-treatment required. For some tattoos, a small bandage is necessary, as well as anesthetic ointment.
Protocol: The number of sessions depends on the pigmentation of the discolored areas or tattoo. For a melasma, it’s necessary to have between 4 – 6 sessions.
Result: Immediate, with evolution after the end of treatment.

It is a thermal system that acts by fractional action, that is, by discontinuous emissions of heat. Suitable for rejuvenation when applied to the skin through small pyramid-shaped pins, it transfers heat to the upper dermis at an extremely fast speed, sparing the epidermis.
