Androgenetic Alopecia

(or Baldness)

The hair is formed by keratin, the same protein that makes up the nails. To be strong and healthy, just like the scalp, it needs nutrients like zinc, niacin, biotin and Vitamins A, B6 and C, hence the importance of maintaining a balanced diet.

There are cases, however, where alopecia, which is the scientific term for baldness, has its origins in illness, emotional problems, and even genetic inheritance. In the case of androgenetic alopecia, which affects men most, it is caused by genetic factors related to the high rate of testosterone in the bloodstream. Sometimes alopecia can affect all body hair and not just hair.

Other factors that cause baldness, affecting men and women, may be due to autoimmune diseases, seborrheic dermatitis, dysregulation of the natural mechanism of hair loss, called effluvium, and also linked to psychological problems, traumatic events (such as head trauma). ) and the side effects of chemotherapy treatments.

Malnutrition, lack of vitamins and anorexia affect hair development, which can be aggravated by poorly functioning thyroid, ovaries and adrenal glands.

Cosmiatria has techniques and equipment that stimulate hair growth through the injection of active substances, whose action is enhanced by lasers.

Microcirculation is stimulated, revitalizing hair and making it stronger, thicker and more resistant, and stimulating its growth. Photostimulation is done with over 2,000 LED lights.
